The Post Frame Building Process

Wondering how a post frame project actually goes? Here is the process from first conversation to finished building, so you know what to expect.

1. Tell Us What You Want

It starts with a conversation. You tell us what you are trying to build, how you will use it, and roughly where it is going. Bring as many or as few details as you have. If you are still figuring it out, that is fine, we will help.

2. Design and Quote

We help you nail down the size, layout, doors, height, and finish level, then put together a clear quote. No surprises buried in the fine print. If you want to adjust to fit a budget, we will talk through the tradeoffs honestly.

3. Permits and Site Prep

Most buildings need a permit, and your site needs to be ready. We can point you in the right direction on permitting for your county and talk through what site prep your parcel needs before we build.

4. Construction

Our crews set the posts, frame the building, and put on the roof and siding, engineered for your snow and wind loads. A lot of standard buildings go up in a matter of weeks once the site is ready.

5. Finishing Touches

Doors, windows, insulation, and any interior finishing you have chosen go in, and we make sure the building is weather tight and right before we call it done.
