Post Frame Shops & Garages

A post frame shop or garage gives you the space to work, store, and tinker, without the cost of stick built construction. PNW Post Frame builds them across Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

Post frame is the smart way to build a shop or detached garage. The clear span interior means no posts or walls in the middle of your floor, so you get usable space for vehicles, lifts, benches, and projects. And because it goes up faster and uses less concrete than stick framing, you get more building for your money.

Shops Built Around How You Work

Detached garages for daily drivers, project cars, or the collection

Heated, insulated work shops with room for a lift

Combo buildings with a shop bay and storage under one roof

Tall bays for trucks, tractors, and RVs

Man caves, she sheds, and hobby space

Finish It Your Way

We can hand you a weather tight shell to finish yourself, or take it all the way with insulation, steel or wood liner, concrete, wiring rough in, and the doors and windows that make the space work. The wide spacing between posts leaves plenty of room for thick insulation, so a finished shop is easier to heat through a Spokane winter and keep cool in summer.

Doors, Height, and Details

Overhead doors sized for what you park, walk doors where you want them, extra wall height for lifts and tall equipment, windows for natural light, and lean tos for covered outdoor space. We help you get the details right the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a post frame shop cost?

It depends on the size, the wall height, the snow load, and how finished you want it. A bare shell is far less than a fully insulated and wired shop. Give us your dimensions and location for a real number.

Can you pour the concrete floor too?

We can coordinate the full project including the slab. Let us know and we will build that into your quote.

How tall can the walls be?

We build shops with the wall height you need for lifts, RVs, and tall equipment. Just tell us what has to fit.
